Achieving the Signature Colour: This spray provides the essential base coat. It is designed to result in a colour match for Games Workshop's Averland Sunset after two subsequent thin coats of a yellow glaze (like the original Lamenters Yellow or a similar product) have been applied over the cured primer. This process gives Valrak Yellow its unique rich and vibrant signature tone.

For the Best Results (Applying the Primer):

1. Shake Well: Shake the can vigorously for at least 2 minutes to ensure the pigment is fully mixed. You should hear the agitator ball moving freely. Yellow pigments can sometimes require extra shaking.

2. Warm Gently: If the can feels cold, stand it in a container of warm (not hot!) water for a few minutes. Keep the water level below the nozzle area. This improves paint flow, especially in cooler conditions.

3. Test Spray: Briefly spray onto a piece of scrap material to ensure an even flow.

4. Apply: Hold the can approximately 15-25 cm (6-10 inches) away from the model. Apply using short, even passes, moving across the model. Aim for thin coats – it's better to apply two thin coats than one thick one, especially with lighter colours like yellow to achieve solid coverage without obscuring detail. Allow the primer to fully cure before applying subsequent layers (like the required glaze).

5. Clear Nozzle: After use, turn the can upside down and spray for a few seconds until only clear propellant comes out. This helps prevent nozzle blockages for next time.

• Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.

• IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

• Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations.
