Ingenious 3D is always exciting – right up to the last second!

Following on from our classic best-seller Ingenious, Dr Knizia has done it again. New possibilities appear with every new tile you place – even in 3 dimensions. Maximise your score by placing tiles so the symbols on them align with other tiles.

During their turn, each player places one tile from their supply onto two empty hexagonal spaces on the game board, or on a higher level. For each of the two hexagons composing this tile, the player scores one point in the hexagon’s colour for each already-placed hexagon of the same colour that radiates outward in a straight line from one of the placed hexagon’s five sides.

However, be careful to ensure no colour is neglected. The colour with the lowest score ultimately decides whether you win or not. Clever tile placement and a little bit of luck could ensure your victory! It’s ingenious – and it’s hugely entertaining, time and time again!
